We extended the Wi-Fi network to this area and equipped our operators with handheld devices featuring infrared scanners. The result: now, simply scanning the barcode of each pallet bound for shipment automatically generates the shipping slip from the system.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This saves time and avoids having to manually input long numeric strings into a computer, reducing the risk of entering incorrect numbers and causing confusion. The operator just needs to do a final check, insert the shipping terms, and print. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A small and simple innovation, but one that will significantly improve our work.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shipment control goes digital Impea&#8217;s technological renewal journey continues, and this time it involves the shipping department.
