A new face for the IMPEA sheet metal warehouse
The renovation of the sheet metal warehouse has been completed, an area of almost 1000 square meters completely modernized with a view to lean production.
Over 350 linear meters of cantilever shelving that are gradually filling up with raw materials that will be used to make the products.
The advantages? First of all, efficiency, being able to count on an optimized storage of the sheets, which allows you to improve the order of materials (divided by type), to identify and recover them immediately.
Then there is safety, because an orderly and rationalised department means less risk for operators, who can carry out tasks more quickly and without stress.
Last but not least, quality. Sheet metal is the first product that enters the company, and then it is processed and transformed into something else: for this reason, we want it to be treated with the utmost care at all stages, starting with storage.
