Robotic welding: superior quality on a large scale
The robotic welding department is where we take care of the processing of heavy carpentry pieces for you, with thicker sheets that would be difficult to work manually.
With 3 modern robotic welding islands, we are able to process sheet metal and components with dimensions up to 2,000 x 1,200 x 1,200 mm and weight up to 500 kg.
Each operation is supervised by our programming staff and the team of IMPEA welders, to ensure consistently high quality results and maximum safety.
Automatic joint search system
Our machines are equipped with an automatic joint search system, so as to make up for any errors in the welding mask or in the positioning of the piece, avoiding inconveniences and ensuring continuity and constant quality in production.
Finish
Each piece coming out of the robotic welding islands is examined by our operators and cleaned of any slag, so as to obtain uniform surfaces ready for painting.
‘Robotized’ precision
With robotic welding, it is possible to repeat exactly the same weld on each piece, resulting in uniformity across all parts, with joints of consistent dimensional characteristics and the same level of precision.
