IMPEA obtains ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications
Just before Christmas and after ten days of audits by the accredited body ICIM, we obtained ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications.
The first (ISO 14001:2015) concerns environmental management systems, through a series of parameters aimed at monitoring the impact of its activities and continuously improving processes with a view to consistency, effectiveness and sustainability.
The second (ISO 45001:2018) specifies requirements for occupational health and safety management systems, with the aim of helping organizations create safe spaces, reducing risks and increasing well-being.
It was the conclusion of a year-long journey, with the valuable advice of Area Iso Brescia, in which we involved everyone to achieve a double result: on the one hand, refining and learning to correctly use the tools at our disposal; on the other hand, to consolidate the corporate culture, promoting a strong and shared sense of responsibility, together with the adoption of virtuous behavior.
A result of which we are very proud, aware, however, of the fact that it is not a trophy to be displayed on the showcase, but a commitment to people and the environment.
