IMPEA bending department grows with a new 75 t bending machine
The new Vimercati hydraulic bending machine has been in operation for a few weeks, a 75-ton 5-axis model with a 2-meter working range, which joins its 200-ton older sister, which arrived a couple of years ago.
It is a compact and high-tech machine, designed to operate in connection with ERP and MES with a view to industry 4.0, which will allow us to further increase production performance and the reliability of the bending process.
In fact, each fold can be programmed offline directly from the office, carrying out a simulation of the entire process to evaluate the dimensions, the folding sequence and every other factor, so as to reduce waste and start production only once every aspect has been optimized, without having to empirically ‘adjust the shot’.
A solution that greatly simplifies the operator’s work, eliminating the possibility of error and making bending much faster and safer, with the impeccable quality that has always distinguished our products.
In addition, it will also reduce electricity and oil consumption, helping to reduce waste and the overall impact on the environment.
