We take this commitment seriously, continuously investing in sustainable technologies, optimizing production processes, eliminating waste and promoting a more conscious and responsible culture, inside and outside the company.
The 2025 Sustainability Report
To consolidate our path towards an increasingly responsible business model, we present the third IMPEA Sustainability Report, prepared in accordance with the GRI – Global Reporting Initiative standards.
A voluntary document that offers a detailed and transparent overview of our environmental, social and governance performance, the result of the contribution of all company functions and external consultants.
The photovoltaic system
To reduce the impact of CO2 on the atmosphere, we have equipped ourselves with a photovoltaic system with a production capacity of 450 kWh.
An investment of more than half a million euros, consisting of 820 panels arranged on the roof of the plant on an area of over 2 thousand square meters, which allows us to significantly reduce the share of energy from non-renewable sources.
Areas of intervention
Energy
In addition to producing green energy with our photovoltaic system, we avoid waste by using automatic sensors for lighting the rooms, turning off heating and cooling when not necessary and including electric and hybrid vehicles in the fleet.
Emissions
We regularly carry out all the required chemical analyses on the fumes generated by the welding and laser cutting processes, in order to ensure constant compliance with the regulations for the emission of dust.
Materials
We use consistent and ever-increasing shares of recycled materials, avoiding waste and promoting circular economy practices to reduce the impact on the environment.
Waste
We support employee awareness and training initiatives for proper waste management and environmental impact reduction, as well as actively promoting initiatives aimed at recovering useful materials from waste.
People
We are committed to creating inclusive environments and ideal working conditions for employees and collaborators, encouraging permanence in the company and offering training and professional and personal growth courses.
Territory
We are interested in what happens in our community, supporting projects, cultural initiatives, educational paths, sports associations and deserving realities in the area in which we operate.
